Privacy notice
What this website collects when you visit it, and what happens to it. Last updated October 1, 2026.
This is my personal website. It is run separately from Cordell Nail & Wire Company, and this notice covers only this site.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, this site’s server keeps a log of the requests it receives. Each entry includes your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the address of the page that linked you here (if your browser sends it), and the browser details your device reports, such as the browser name, version and operating system. These logs help keep the site running, show which pages people read and help detect abuse.
Cookie and analytics
The site sets one first-party cookie, which lets it recognize a returning browser and tell repeat visits apart from new ones. It also runs a small first-party analytics script, served from this site, which records things like which pages are viewed and how long they stay open. Neither the cookie nor the script comes from an advertising network or any outside analytics company, and nothing here is used to show you ads.
You can block or delete the cookie in your browser settings. The site will still work.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, everything you enter is stored: your name, email address, organization, the date you mention and your message, along with the time it was sent and the technical details listed above. We use it to read and reply to your message and to keep a record of the conversation. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t sell or rent what you send.
Please don’t send anything through the form that you wouldn’t want stored, such as financial account details or passwords. We will never ask for them.
Who sees it
Logs, analytics data and form messages are available to me, to the people in my office who help me with correspondence and to the company that hosts the site. We share information with others only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Server logs and analytics records are kept for as long as they’re useful for running and improving the site, then deleted. Contact form messages are kept as part of my correspondence unless you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to have a message or other information deleted, write to office@warrenkessling.com. We’ll respond within thirty days.
